The idea for the setting of this came to me in a really interesting way... The character, White Paws, I came up with a while back, but I didn’t have a background or setting to put her in. I have no idea where the idea for the setting came from, but I was in my bedroom one morning (I think maybe I'd just gotten out of bed), and walking toward the door, when this exact image (just the setting, not the characters) literally just flashed in my mind, spiral steps, crumbled column, and everything. It was just a split second, but it was enough. And this is actually the second time something like that happened.
In the original idea for the character herself, her gloves were actually paw shaped, thus her name. I chose her for the setting because her black-and-white coloration fit in well with the gloomy background.
wow that's great. very unique setting, and character. aren't random epiphanies great?

The number of times I give up and the number of failures were the same. The data that can be derived from this unpleasant experience, proves that the number of times that I didn't give up and the number of times I succeed were the same.
