If this looks familiar by chance, it's because it's a remake of an older painting I did in 2005.

I sketched the tree from our backyard - I wanted to use white oak because the leaves turn a really pretty shade of red in the autumn. The weird thing about this is that the background was the hardest part and I think I spent more time on it than anything else. The only problem I have with it is that the third leaf is really hard to see against the sky. :< It took me forever to put the finishing touches on the sprite, mostly because I kept playing with the face.

My personal favorite from your gallery <3 The dark color of the sprite almost makes it look like a silhouette, it's so magical.

You're a very talented painter ^^ Personally, I suck at painting X) I'll just stick to pencil and ink. Respect to the masters of the brush.
